Latest Haul

Today's haul are the peerless watercolors I purchased and a small review regarding the website I purchased them from.

So starting off with the review. The Peerless Watercolors I got, I purchased them from SimonSaysStamp.com. It took them 5 days to get the purchase processed and it only took two business days to arrive. Personally I don't think it is acceptable to do so. I checked everyday to make sure it was sent. They don't even send you an email letting you know whether or not it was sent. They sell some awesome stamps and whatnot but due to my bad first impression of the site, I am apprehensive to purchasing anything from them again.

Anyway that's it for the gloomy stuff, and let's move on to the haul.

Study of a Butterfly Wing

This is one of my favorites. I have heard professors in college say that mentioning the amount of time one puts into a piece means nothing, the finished piece is the outcome of hard and laboring work.
This one might have taken me a long time but I LOVE looking at it.

So yesterday, I pulled out a book I got called "Creative Doodling & Beyond". I took two of the exercises from it and went to town. Here are the results :D

K-Pop Songs for October

This whole music thing came up after reading my sister's blog.

So, lately I have been going back to when I first began listening to K-Pop where I only listened lto BToB, 2PM, f(x), and SHINee. But they don't fit the kind of weather we have been having here in Maryland.

Love Equation - VIXX --> This song is warm with an awesome drum line which gives the whole song a sense of warmth. 

Paradise - Infinite --> Let me first say that the title I have given the song is the english translation though they do say it in the song, the original title is in Korean. It is an uplifting song, though granted I can't understand what it is about, the beats seem to mimic one's heart beat creates that relaxing feeling to it even though it is a fast paced song.

Sleep Talking - NU'EST --> Here is another song with a Korean title but I wrote the english translation instead. One more of these songs where we have a strong drum line that helps the overall song.
Step - KARA --> Ridiculously addicting song. If you get round to watching the music video it is lots of fun.

Childhood Memories

There are two things that i recall the fondest when it comes to my childhood: a teddy bear given to me when I turned 1, & dancing. So for this piece, I wanted to demonstrate my love for both, my bear and dancing through my art. This was one of my first pieces of art. This one, according to some, doesn't seem to be quite finished but it isn't noticeable.

It was fun to do. Very time consuming but fun. I will say this the shoes were the most fun to work on.
